In the hospital wards, psychiatrist is the head of the psychiatric treatment team which includes psychiatric nurses, psychiatric social workers, occupational therapists, and clinical psychologists. Each of these members is supervised by the psychiatrist.

• General Ward: this unit represents a secure environment with a locked door to care for psychiatrically ill patients in a short-term concept.  It is also a training site that provides a unique training experience for disciplines involved in the diagnosis and treatment of severe mental illness.

• Emergency Ward: the emergency ward is a 24/7 operation unit that provides emergency psychiatric services (evaluating immediately and stabilizing patients) and extended observation beds for patients who are suffering from a psychiatric crisis.

• Child and Adolescent Ward: the child and adolescent ward offer comprehensive assessments and treatments to children and adolescents who have mental health difficulties.

• Dual Diagnosis Ward: in this ward, clinicians will focus on medically-managed withdrawal and management of common psychiatric disorders that are comorbid with addictions.
